Musk Ox

Qiviut fiber from the musk ox is 8 time softer than wool. While at a Wild Fibers event in Rheinbeck, NY in October, a creator of fine clothing and accessories commissioned this fellow and furnished the fiber for me. This fellow's new home is in Canada at one of Qiviuk's boutiques.

This attractive Wooliedales Christmas stocking just went up for auction on eBay. The bidding will close on Saturday, November 21, 2009. You could hang it...with care of course!... by your fireplace, even a gas one, or even one with the lights that look like a flame. Fill it with treats for that special furry "someone." Adirondacks Minidales

I was inspired during a recent RV stay in the beautiful Adirondacks of upstate New York to create this serie of Camping Minidales for auction on eBay. The auctions of the seven groupings end on September 7, 2009.

"Rescue Mom" Kangaroo, Joey and Airedale Pup on eBay

It’s hard to resist the sensation of feeling warm “fuzzies” when you realize the extent to which rescue moms go to heal the wounded. Whenever I look on these figures I am filled with a deep-seated gratitude for all those involved in this work. My hope is that this sculpture will bring the same awareness to many of you looking on.
